Job summary

Boise Cascade in Memphis is seeking a Millwork Freight Specialist to organize inbound and outbound deliveries of door material, slabs, jambs, glass, and related products.

You will coordinate with plant staff to arrange trucking, monitor routes, and ensure DOT/OSHA compliance while maintaining accurate shipping records and safety standards. A focus on efficiency and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma, GED or two years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and truck driver safety is a plus.
• Strong communication and computer skills for routing and scheduling.
• Ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound/outbound deliveries for customers via contracts or company drivers.
• Coordinate trucking arrangements with location staff for all freight needs.
• Utilize RFN system to review routes, release tickets, and scanning information.
• Coordinate staging and storage of door material, slabs, jambs, glass, etc.
• Maintain DOT reports, driving logs, freight contracts, and carrier profiles; monitor hours of service.

Education
