Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting is seeking a Millwork Engineer / CAD Designer to support architectural woodworking from design through manufacturing and installation. The role emphasizes AutoCAD proficiency, woodworking know-how, and collaboration with CNC operators and project teams.

The ideal candidate will translate architectural drawings into production-ready shop drawings and develop CNC programs, with training available for CNC software if needed.

Qualifications

Strong AutoCAD proficiency.
Hands-on woodworking or millwork knowledge.
Ability to read architectural drawings and construction docs.
Attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
Ability to work independently and multi-task.
Strong communication and teamwork.
Positive attitude and quick learning.

Responsibilities

Draft and review AutoCAD shop drawings for millwork projects.
Translate drawings into production-ready shop drawings.
Coordinate drawings for manufacturing, fabrication, and installation.
Create CNC programs with WoodWOP/WoodCAD|CAM/CutRite.
Collaborate with CNC operators, carpenters, installers, and PMs.
Revise drawings per feedback from architects and clients.
Ensure drawings/CNC programs meet project requirements.
