Job summary

Woodweb in New Jersey is seeking an Architectural Millwork Specialist to prepare and update detailed digital drawings, manage CAD data, and coordinate with production and installation teams.

The ideal candidate has AutoCAD experience, CNC knowledge, and a solid understanding of woodworking technology. Responsibilities include creating shop drawings, interpreting plans, and ensuring documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting architectural plans and producing accurate shop drawings.
• Experience in commercial millwork and woodworking technology.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with production.

Responsibilities

• Create Shop Drawings using AutoCAD to develop detailed drawings.
• Read architectural drawings and bid documents.
• Produce detailed design documentation and specifications.
• Research materials for product development.
• Maintain clear client communication to meet expectations.
• Recommend work sequencing with Production Manager.
• Revise/update drawings with Project Manager for consistency.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Provide technical support across project phases.
• Maintain notes, BOMs, design parameters in electronic files.
• Suggest cost-efficient alternatives where possible.
• Participate in hand-off meetings for project understanding.
