Job summary

TC Millwork is seeking a skilled Drafter with Autodesk Inventor 3D expertise to join our engineering team in a full-time role. You will create accurate 3D models, develop shop drawings, and produce detailed part details for manufacturing, collaborating closely with engineers and project managers to turn concepts into production-ready designs.

The ideal candidate has proficiency in Inventor, a relevant degree, and a strong grasp of mechanical design principles.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor 3D is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous drafting experience for manufacturing or millwork is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D models and detailed drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
• Develop shop drawings, assemblies, and part details for manufacturing purposes.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to translate concepts into actionable designs.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.
• Identify potential design or manufacturing issues and propose solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in Autodesk Inventor and related tools.
