Job summary

FOX Factory is seeking a skilled machinist/maintenance technician to set up milling machinery for production and perform daily preventative maintenance. The role includes reading blueprints, loading fixtures and programs, and maintaining high productivity and accuracy.

You will mentor junior staff and troubleshoot issues, with a requirement of a high school diploma and 2+ years of relevant experience. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and customer drawings and all technical information.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.

Responsibilities

• Setup and prepare machinery for production.
• Full knowledge of how to read blueprints, customer drawings and all technical information.
• Load/unload fixtures and specific programs for machine set up.
• Maintains better than average productivity.
• Maintains high accuracy on all functions.
• Mentors' other employees.
• Works on moderate scope of machinery set-up complexity.
• Has the ability to identify potential issues and resolve efficiently.
• Escalates issues to supervisor only when out of their knowledge base to resolve.
• Provides guidance or direction, training, and technical assistance to junior level support.
• Contributes to employee's development.
