Job summary

FOX Factory designs, engineers, and manufactures performance‑defining products for a global market. A Milling Machinist role is responsible for setting up and preparing milling machinery, reading blueprints, and ensuring high accuracy in production processes.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of machinery experience, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, customer drawings and technical information.
• Strong mechanical and technical abilities.
• Able to analyze and troubleshoot problems related to milling operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare milling machinery for production.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to guide setup.
• Load/unload fixtures and set up specific programs.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff.
• Identify potential issues and resolve them efficiently.
• Escalate issues to supervisor when outside knowledge base.
