The role involves operating milling machines, setting up materials, and using computerized controls to run programs while ensuring accuracy and quality across all parts.

The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, be comfortable with data entry, read technical drawings, and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.

Qualifications

• Previous milling machine experience strongly preferred.
• Experience operating industrial machinery or manufacturing equipment.
• Strong computer skills and comfort working with computerized machinery.
• Familiarity with machine controls, software, and data entry.
• Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, diagrams, and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the full 2nd shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor milling machines and production equipment.
• Set up, load, and position materials for machining operations.
• Use computerized systems to operate and monitor machinery.
• Enter production information, select machine programs, and make adjustments as needed.
• Read and follow work orders, technical drawings, and machine instructions.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, measurements, and quality.
• Use measuring tools to verify that parts meet specifications.
• Meet production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and organized.
