Herkules USA in Ford City, PA is expanding its operation to assemble, rebuild and test large Waldrich Siegen milling heads used in its machine tools. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help build that capability in the US, assembling, rebuilding and testing the gears, shafts, spindles, bearings, seals and couplings that make up these large-scale components.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical assembly experience or technical training.
• Experience with mechanical assembly and repair in heavy equipment or machining.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
• Precise, dependable, safety-conscious with team spirit and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, rebuild and prepare milling and angle heads, including gears, shafts, spindles, bearings, seals, couplings and related components
• Read and work from technical drawings, hydraulic diagrams, tolerances and assembly instructions to ensure precise assembly
• Inspect, measure and adjust components, including alignment, backlash, runout, clearances, fits and torque, while identifying wear, damage or defects
• Test completed milling heads, document results and ensure proper operation
