Job summary

Waldrich Coburg North America in Erie, PA, is seeking full-time Mechanical Assemblers/Repair Technicians to assemble and rebuild machine tool components at our Erie facility. A mechanical background with precision assembly, bearing setting, gear play assessment, and ability to operate tool room equipment is required.

Candidates should have at least 1 year mechanical knowledge, a high school diploma or equivalent, experience rebuilding components, and proficiency with precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background with precision assembly, setting bearings and gear play.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience rebuilding and maintaining mechanical components.
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment.
• Limited/occasional travel up to ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and rebuild machine tool components.
• Set bearings and adjust gear play as needed.
• Operate tool room equipment to fabricate or finish parts.
• Travel to customer sites up to 25% may be required.
