Job summary

Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (LP Building Solutions) is seeking a Utility to support mill operations, covering for employee absences and performing daily maintenance to ensure high-quality panel production. A commitment to safety is essential in all tasks.

You will train across mill areas, assist with baghouse activities, and complete wash-downs, cleanup, and documentation as directed by supervision. No prior experience required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and follow General Plant Rules.
• Ability to read, understand, and comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Train to support and provide coverage across all areas of the mill.
• Assist with baghouse maintenance and cleaning tasks across units.
• Perform wash-down activities between buildings and general cleanup.
• Screen cleaning and eyewash station inspections as assigned.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing duties.
