Miller Milling Company in Saginaw, TX is seeking a Mill Utility to support the Shift Miller by monitoring and inspecting product, equipment, and processing steps from raw ingredients through finished goods. You will help ensure production meets designed quality standards and assist with finished product transfers.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills – written and verbal.
• Thorough knowledge of all mill equipment and basic maintenance needs.
• Knowledge of different wheat varieties.
• Knowledge of grain science and analytical procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot production problems.
• Proficiency with computers and in Microsoft Office.
• Willing and able to work with wheat products i.e. no wheat/gluten sensitivity.
• Willing and able to work in a team environment for the success of the plant.

Responsabilidades

• Milling and Finished Product Transfer: Identify varieties of wheat and produce to customer specs during shift.
• Observe equipment operations to detect malfunctions and correct them.
• Identify and assist with problems in the mills and assist with maintenance on milling equipment.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on sifters, purifiers, and other milling equipment.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Clean work areas and equipment, including cleaning and lubricating equipment.
• Ensure finished products are transferred to load out on schedule and meet customer specifications.
• Basic maintenance on cleaning house equipment.
• Conduct laboratory analysis accurately and in accordance with approved methods.
• Comply with prescribed test procedures and sample handling protocols.
