Job summary

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation in Southern California seeks a Mill Team Lead to help meet quality and production goals while enforcing safe work practices in the assigned work cells. You will train new and existing employees, support the production line when needed, and actively promote a culture where safety, quality and teamwork are priorities.

This role requires collaboration with supervisors and staff to resolve issues, generate downtime and productivity reports, and uphold Fender's

Qualifications

• Two years operations/manufacturing experience.
• English and Spanish communication preferred.
• Ability to lead others and meet safety/quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Audit/verify proper PPEs are being utilized for assigned group.
• Communicate safety updates and toolbox topics to assigned group.
• Report all safety issues to Production Supervisor.
• Assist with accident investigations.
• Direct Team Members to accomplish the department’s daily and weekly goals.
• Generate reports using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint regarding downtime, production, training, and inventory.
• All other duties as assigned.
