Job summary

Global Cellulose Fibers seeks a Storeroom Supervisor to oversee inventory, purchasing, and material flow at the Columbus Mill in Columbus, MS. You will supervise a small storeroom team, coordinate with maintenance, and drive value through efficient stock management.

Requirements include a BA/BS, 4+ years in purchasing/inventory, SAP and MS Office proficiency, and manufacturing experience. The role reports to the Purchasing & Stores Manager and is site-based.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in purchasing, inventory management, shipping and receiving.
• Supervisory/leadership experience.
• Industrial/manufacturing experience; pulp & paper mill preferred.
• Knowledgeable in SAP Business Software.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise storeroom team of 5–6 technicians overseeing receiving, storage, issuing and shipping.
• Purchase materials, parts and services with best-value considerations.
• Maintain stock levels to support operations and maintenance.
• Perform annual cycle counts per policy.
• Support Global Sourcing initiatives and contracts knowledge.
• Coordinate scrap and surplus materials sales.
• Assist with procurement duties and vendor coordination.
