Job summary

Chris-Craft, a premium boat manufacturer, seeks Mill Shop Technicians to join a team building world-class products. You will cut and assemble poly and wood parts, follow strict work instructions, and operate routers, drills, and other hand/power tools to meet production schedules.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED (technical certs helpful), English literacy, basic math, and the ability to work well both in a team and independently.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Cutting and assembling poly and wood parts used in boat building.
  • Follow work instructions and stay on task.
  • Use hand and power tools (drills, screw guns, routers, belt sanders).
  • Maintain daily/weekly goals and meet production schedule.
  • Route and assemble parts for Upholstery, Assembly, Lamination, Sales and Warranty orders.
  • Adjust assemblies to fit prior to installation.
  • Deliver goods to designated areas and stock materials.
  • Cross-train and learn other areas.

Chris-Craft is a premium boat manufacturer participating in the luxury goods industry looking for Mill Shop Technicians who want to be part of a great team building a world-class product.

The Mill Shop Technician will be responsible for effectively and efficiently cutting and assembling poly and wood parts used in all aspects of boat building.

Responsibilities:

  • Able to follow work instructions for the specific job and stay on task
  • Able to use hand and power tools (drills, screw guns, hand tools, routers, belt sanders)
  • Maintain and ensure daily/weekly goals and production schedule is met.
  • Use router to route and assemble parts for Upholstery, Assembly, Lamination, Sales and Warranty orders.
  • Adjust assemblies to fit prior to installation
  • Delivery of all goods to designated areas.
  • Stocking shelves of material upon arrival.
  • Willingness to cross-train and learn other areas
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements: Including, but not limited to:

  • Bending, climbing, crawling, stretching, squatting, kneeling, twisting, reaching, walking and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • May work on knees, seated, laying down, standing up.
  • May require individual to be in awkward positions.

Environmental Conditions:

  • Exposed to heat, cold, dust, fumes, and some outside weather conditions.
  • May be exposed to acetone, putties, glues, adhesive cleaners, caulking, transmission fluids, lubricants.
