S. W. Collins Company is seeking a detail-oriented Millwork Technician to join our Architectural Mill team. You will work with a range of woodworking tools to produce high-quality custom millwork and cabinetry, reading shop drawings and applying finishes to achieve a superior product.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in custom millwork or cabinetry, woodworking or CNC operation.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings or blueprints.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
• Positive attitude, dependable, and good communication.
• Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of tools and equipment including planers, jointers, table saws, miter saws, routers, drills, CNC equipment, sanders, and edgebanders to complete custom projects.
• Accurately template and fabricate laminate and Corian countertops.
• Efficiently and skillfully assemble custom cabinetry.
• Apply finishes evenly using sprayers (paint, stain, sealers) and perform touch-ups as needed to ensure a quality finished product.
• Accurately read and interpret shop drawings and plans to ensure quality in production and installation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
