Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and either 2 years of steady work in the last 5 years or a recent graduate within 12 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of steady work in the past 5 years or a recent high school graduate within the last 12 months.
• Comfort using a computer for simple tasks; Microsoft Office familiarity is a plus, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Help keep the workplace safe by following all safety rules and procedures.
• Keep work area tidy and organized for efficient operation.
• Support different parts of the mill, gaining hands-on experience across the operation.
• Learn to operate key equipment (bander, wrapper, labeler) and loading/unloading for truck, rail and intermodal transport.
• Incorporate quality checks into daily tasks and learn standard verifications.
• Speak up about maintenance or safety issues to improve processes.
• Work with teammates across departments to uphold safety, environmental care and quality.
