Job summary

Major Metals Co. is seeking a skilled operator to run the FCF direct forming line and ensure safety and quality in a high-automation environment. You will adjust parameters, monitor product quality, and support production planning while maintaining a clean, organized mill area.

The role requires leadership, the ability to work independently, and a solid understanding of tube mill processes; prior experience with HF welders, NDT, and a flying saw is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating a tube mill or profiling line.
• Experience with flying saw, HF welder, and NDT is required.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures with precision.

Responsibilities

• Operate the FCF direct forming line with high automation.
• Monitor and improve product quality by adjusting settings.
• Prepare production plans in consultation with management.
• Perform basic cleaning and minor repairs in the mill area.
• Maintain a clean, organized mill workspace and meet productivity targets.
