Job summary

Richardson Durum Milling, a division of Richardson International, is seeking a Mill Operator to oversee the milling department in St. Louis, MO.

You will monitor production outcomes, ensure quality and food safety, and drive efficiency while maintaining a safe, organized plant floor. The role requires prior flour milling experience, a degree in Milling Science and Management or IAOM coursework, and ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous flour milling experience is required.
• Bachelor of Science, Milling Science and Management or IAOM Correspondence Course completion.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Must be comfortable using a computer and able to learn new software for production.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Directs and monitors production outcomes, quantity, and quality to meet specifications.
• Optimize operational efficiencies to support production targets.
• Facilitate maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Keep the mill organized and clean at all times.
• Enforce SOPs, GMPs, OSHA, and HAACP guidelines at all times.
• Maintain documentation for production and inventories.
