Job summary

Richardson Durum Milling, a division of Richardson International, seeks a Loadout Lead for our St. Louis, MO milling facility.

You will oversee the loadout department, coordinate production, and ensure safety and quality standards on the plant floor. The role requires hands-on supervision, scheduling, and familiarity with Trackmobile and Bobcat equipment, along with strong communication and commitment to SOPs, GMPs, OSHA and HACCP.

Qualifications

• Experience blending or loading is a plus.
• Experience operating Trackmobile and Bobcat.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate.
• Comfortable using a computer and learning new production software.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversees production outcomes in loadout to meet specs and safety.
• Collaborate with Milling to meet customer specs and timelines.
• Optimize efficiencies to support production goals.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Schedule labor according to production needs.
• Keep loadout area organized and compliant with SOPs/ GMPs/ OSHA/ HACCP.
• Maintain documentation and basic equipment maintenance knowledge.
• Communicate with supervisors across mill, maintenance, and packaging departments.

We currently have an opportunity for a Loadout Lead to join our team at our St. Louis, MO Milling location. A Loadout Lead is responsible for the overall operations of the loadout department and employees.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversees and monitors production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications.
• Collaborate with Milling department to meet customer specifications and timeline.
• Optimize operational efficiencies to support the facility's production.
• Facilitate maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.
• Schedule labor according to the production needs and guidelines.
• Ensure the loadout area is organized and clean at all times.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Make sure all production personnel follow SOP’s, GMP’s, OSHA and HAACP guidelines at all times.
• Will be required to maintain documentation of a variety of activities and inventories; these may be either on a paper format or electronic format.
• Must learn and execute basic equipment maintenance to improve production reliability.
• Make recommendations for line efficiency and productivity improvements.
• Communicate effectively with other supervisors in mill, maintenance and packaging departments and assist when needed.
• This role requires regular presence on the plant floor, requires lifting up to 50 lbs. and occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in blending or loading a plus.
• Experience operating trackmobile and bobcat.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Must be comfortable using a computer and able to learn new software for production.
