Job summary

Sazerac is seeking a Stave Mill Manager for our Medon, TN location. You will be the senior on-site leader with full P&L accountability for safety, quality, production, cost and people.

This hands-on role owns production, maintenance, HR and safety, balancing long-term planning with daily on-the-floor decisions. You will drive lean improvements, manage a supervisory team, and ensure reliable equipment and site infrastructure while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive manufacturing leadership.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting, costs, and forecasts.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Own the site’s complete financial performance, including the operating plan, labor, wood cost, maintenance spend, and capital needs.
• Serve as the senior accountable safety leader, building a strong safety culture through visible leadership and training.
• Deliver consistent quality, output, yield, and cost performance while driving continuous improvement using lean manufacturing principles.
• Lead and develop supervisors and production teams across production, maintenance, HR, and safety functions.
• Maintain reliable equipment and site infrastructure through preventive maintenance and capital project execution.
