Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Stave Mill Line Lead for Robinson Stave to drive safety, quality, and production performance on the 1st shift. This hands-on leadership role oversees daily activities and supports employees in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in manufacturing, strong leadership, and a focus on continuous improvement within the stave mill environment. Shift is 6am-4:30pm, Monday through Thursday with occasional Fridays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing, warehouse, or fast-paced industrial environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production activities for the assigned shift, ensuring safety, quality, and output goals are achieved.
• Provide coaching, direction, and support to production team members across the stave mill operation.
• Monitor production flow, staffing, and work assignments while ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support regulatory, environmental, and workplace safety requirements while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Join Robinson Stave as a Stave Mill Line Lead and play a key role in driving safety, quality, and production performance on our 1st shift team. This position provides daily leadership and support to production employees while helping ensure operational goals are achieved in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who values teamwork, continuous improvement, and employee development.

What You’ll Do

• Lead day-to-day production activities for the assigned shift, ensuring safety, quality, and output goals are achieved.
• Provide coaching, direction, and support to production team members across the stave mill operation.
• Monitor production flow, staffing, and work assignments while ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support regulatory, environmental, and workplace safety requirements while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Shift/Hours: 6am-4:30pm M-Thurs. Occasional Fridays

Qualifications/Requirements

Required

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or fast-paced industrial environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred

• Experience in logging, sawmill, lumber, wood products, or similar manufacturing environments.
• Experience with inventory control, production tracking, or related operational processes.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as TPM, PDCA, Lean, or similar programs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to operate industrial equipment as required.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, squat, and work in an industrial manufacturing environment for extended periods.
