Job summary

INX International is seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink in Buena Park, CA. Training will be provided for operating a mill and TPM activities, with a focus on running batches, packing, and maintaining equipment.

You will also participate in QC processes and data recording. Responsibilities include learning TPM, operating multiple machines, maintaining safety standards, and assisting with maintenance and repacks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3 months of related work experience.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Reliable to work assigned shift.
• Flexible to work overtime as required.
• Strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience is a plus; training available.
• Experience in mixing, mill, and pump filter industries is a plus.
• Previous ink industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run batches of ink at proper mill settings.
• Package finished product in various containers and apply labels.
• Clean and maintain machines to TPM standards.
• Learn and apply TPM knowledge to daily activities.
• Weigh-up batches following the proper process order; shift between auto and manual steps.
• Mix batches: discharge pigment and operate mixer safely; follow SOPs.
• Operate Hockmeyer mill and maintain optimum OEE.
• Create and maintain a database of existing formulas including processing times.
• Canning; operate press-out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift.
• Act as a QC liaison; provide ink samples and record data.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and troubleshoot as needed.
• Assist with repacks.

Job Description

This role offers a starting range of $20 to $25 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.

We are seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a mill machine and on TPM activities. As aMill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for:

• Runningbatches of ink at proper mill settings
• Packagingfinished product in various containers and applying labels
• Cleaning and maintaining machines to TPM Standards
• Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities
• Weigh-Up Batches: Following proper process order of addition.Shifting between auto and manual steps
• Mix Batch:Dischargingpigment and operatingmixer safely; following and adheringto all INX Mixer SOP's
• Hockmeyer mill operation:Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipmenteffectiveness) standards
• Creatingand maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times
• Canning
• Operatingthe following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift
• Acting as a QC liaison, providingink samples, makingink adjustments, and recording data
• Completingscheduled maintenanceand utilizing troubleshooting procedures.
• Helping with repacks

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

• Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Have 3 months of related work experience
• Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills
• Pay attention to detail
• Be reliableto work assigned shift
• Be flexible to work overtime as required
• Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background
• Be able to perform an active role with any multi-disciplinary teams
• Have good attendanceand punctuality
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:

• Forklift experience, but we can train you
• Mixing, mill, and pump filter industry background
• Previous experience in the ink industry
