Job summary

INX International Ink Co. in Wisconsin seeks an Ink Maker to join our manufacturing team. You will tend mills, weigh batches and mix inks to produce high-quality printing inks, following batch instructions and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred (min 6 months).
• Forklift experience required.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and perform multiple tasks.
• Basic math, communication, and mechanical skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Willingness to work 10-hour shifts; overtime/weekends a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow batch instructions to weigh batches, charge and mix inks.
• Understand mixing procedures and raw materials.
• Monitor temperature and mix speeds and adjust as needed.
• Follow milling procedures, adjust pump speeds and mill rates.
• Filter, package and label inks as directed.
• Make QC adjustments as instructed.
• Weigh quantities of raw materials for ink manufacturing.
• Operate one or more mixers safely to blend raw materials.
• Package the finished product.
• Operate a forklift.

Job Description

We are seeking an Ink Maker to work with us. We have a very competitive starting payplus a shift differential when applicable. If you are looking to start a new career with a stable company that grows its leaders from within, then INX International is the right place for you.The person in this role will tend mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind the raw materials for manufacturing of high-quality printing ink.As an Ink Maker/Ink Tech, you will be responsible for:

• Following batch instructions to weight batches,charge and mix inks
• Understanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials
• Monitoring temperature and mix speeds and adjusting as needed
• Following procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill rates
• Following procedures to filter, package and label inks
• MakingQC adjustments as instructed
• Weighting quantities of raw materials for use in the manufacturing of high quality printing ink
• Operatingone or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner to mix raw materials for the manufacturing of high quality printing ink
• Packaging the finished product
• Operating a forklift

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

• Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Have previous manufacturing experience of at least 6 months
• Have forklift experience
• Be ableto lift up to 50 lbs
• Have basic math, communications and mechanical skills
• Be capableof managing multiple tasks
• Demonstrate good knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Office) programs

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:

• Understanding of 5S workplace
• Knowledge of TPMAbility to work 10-hour shifts
• Ability to work overtime and on weekends
