You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, weld, install bearings and gears, and read electrical schematics and blueprints to keep equipment running at peak uptime in a demanding manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Millwright experience in a mill or similar setting.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Experience cutting and welding.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting bearings, sprockets, motors, gearboxes, pumps, chains, etc.
• Computer software and tablet experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines and procedures.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment for reliability and uptime.
• Assist co-workers and work in a team environment.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards for the facility.
• Communicate work performed and equipment statuses clearly.
• Walk and perform tasks in a noisy, non-air conditioned or unheated mill environment (up to 12 hours).
• Utilize software to update tasks and tickets.
• Troubleshoot equipment for mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
