Job summary

Domtar in Nekoosa, Wisconsin, is seeking a Mill Controller to lead site accounting and financial operations. The role reports to the Director of Finance and supports operating departments to minimize costs and optimize performance.

You will oversee month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, provide business leadership for cost improvements, and ensure GAAP compliance while guiding the site's accounting team. This is a full-time permanent position.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years in a supervisory/management role in manufacturing accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business (CMA and/or MBA preferred).
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the Accounting & Finance functions for the site.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (internal & external).
• Provide financial leadership to optimize cost and earnings.
• Lead month-end, forecasting, budgeting, and audits.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance.
