Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a Mill Controller at the Gladstone, VA mill to direct financial management, planning and accounting activities, supervising payroll, payables, receivables and reporting. The role supports strategic decision making and controls across the mill’s finances.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and capital expenditure analysis with a focus on accuracy and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required or preferred.
• CPA or CMA designation preferred.
• Minimum eight (8) years of accounting management experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of supervisory management experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct the accounting and financial affairs of the mill and provide guidance for management decisions.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and laws.
• Conduct month/year-end closings and manage reconciliations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and reporting for the mill.
• Manage capital expenditures and training for accounting staff.
