Lignetics, Inc. is hiring a dependable Mill Equipment Operator for our arcade, NY facility. You will operate, monitor, and maintain pellet mill equipment, ensuring safe, efficient production and high-quality pellets.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (2nd shift, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM) with an hourly pay range of $21.00–$23.00, plus a $2.00 shift differential and a 2% annual bonus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor three pellet mills to maintain efficient production and quality.
• Perform quality checks on finished pellets and monitor moisture/content.
• Test incoming materials and record measurements.
• Replace rolls and dies using overhead hoist and perform routine maintenance.
• Inspect equipment for issues and ensure safe operation.
• Collaborate with Dryer Operator to control pellet moisture (4%–4.5%).
• Document shift reports and maintain shift summaries.
• Maintain clean, organized mill area and follow safety procedures.
