Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is a Fortune 500 company providing corrugated packaging solutions across more than 100 locations. We seek a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage general ledger postings, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires accuracy, strong Excel skills, and the ability to handle multiple deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree or accounting coursework preferred.
• Three years in business office/accounting with GL, payroll or AP exposure.
• Experience using automated accounting/payroll systems; proficient in MS Office especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Post entries to the general ledger accurately and balance accounts.
• Process accounts payable including batch payments and posting.
• Handle accounts receivable postings, adjustments and collections as needed.
• Support weekly hourly payroll processing and month-end closings.
• Maintain accounting and payroll documentation per policy.
