Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking an Receiving Operator to pump incoming raw milk or cream from tanker trucks into storage tanks and to document volume with emphasis on product quality. You will perform CIP on tankers and silos and collect samples for testing.

You must weigh tankers, record weights and temperatures, and report any food safety or quality issues to management. The role requires following GMPs and maintaining safe working conditions in accordance with health and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Pump incoming raw milk or cream into storage tanks; document volume into inventory with emphasis on quality.
• Perform CIP on tankers and silos with proper documentation.
• Gather samples from tanker for testing.
• Weigh tanker on scales and record weight and temperature readings.
• Report food safety/quality issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with state/federal health and safety regulations.
• Follow DFA GMPs and all regulatory, safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
