Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a plant operator to hook up and unload milk tankers, load out cream and condensed milk, and perform quality tests. The role requires completing CIP and sanitation tasks while ensuring accurate measurements and reporting. A High School diploma is required, and training is provided.

Candidate will read, write, and speak English, manage multiple tasks, and support receiving and shipping operations in a fast-paced dairy environment.

Qualifications

• Must have good work history. Training will be provided.
• Ability to use simple writing, adding, subtraction, whole numbers, and carrying out instructions.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Hook up and unload tankers in a timely fashion.
• Run quality tests on milk.
• Complete CIP on tankers including hookups as well as chemical tests.
• Load out cream and condensed milk and perform all quality tests.
• Complete master sanitation and CIP of all raw cream and milk silos.
• Understand receiving and shipping system to effectively troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at once.
