Job summary

Lehigh Valley Dairy Farms is seeking a Receiving Operator to manage the pumping of incoming raw milk or cream from tanker trucks into storage tanks and to meticulously document volumes for inventory. Emphasis is placed on ensuring product quality and adherence to GMP and safety standards.

The role requires performing CIP on tankers and silos, collecting samples for testing, weighing tankers, and logging temperature readings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Pump incoming raw milk/cream from tanker into storage tanks.
• Document and record volume with emphasis on product quality.
• Perform CIP on tankers and silos; maintain process documentation.
• Gather samples of raw milk from tanker for testing.
• Weigh tanker and record weight and temperature readings.
• Report food safety/quality issues to management immediately.
• Follow GMP and all health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
