Job summary

Dairy Challenge in Frederick, MD is hiring for a milk handler to manage the intake of raw milk and cream from tanker trucks into storage. You will document volumes with a focus on product quality and ensure proper temperature and weight are recorded.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or license may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Pump incoming raw milk or cream from tankers into storage tanks.
• Document and record volume with emphasis on product quality.
• Perform CIP on tankers and silos and document each process.
• Gather samples from tanker for testing.
• Weigh tanker and record temperature readings.
• Report food safety or quality issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Follow GMP and corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
