Job summary

Select Milk Producers seeks a dedicated team member to handle receiving milk and related duties in a safe, clean setting. You will CIP tankers and silos, collect samples for quality tests, and perform routine testing including drug residues and temperature checks.

Maintain USDA readiness, train new staff, and uphold Food Safety and Quality standards while following GMP and safety rules. High school diploma or GED required; Sampler’s Certificate and PMO designation preferred.

Qualifications

• Must work safely and efficiently following procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot small problems and seek guidance when unclear.
• Must obtain Sampler’s Certificate from the State and PMO Industry Analyst designation.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming products meeting standards.
• CIP of Tankers, Silos, and line circuits.
• Take samples for bacteria, butterfat, SNF, and inhibitors.
• Test for drug residues and perform temperature checks.
• Monitor CIP system chemical strengths and testing equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and keep USDA inspection readiness.
• Load out raw products within specifications.
• Assist in training new personnel.
• Report any damage, irregular activity or unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Follow GMP and safety rules; participate in continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned; ensure food safety and food quality.
