ChristianaCare in Newark, Delaware is seeking a Milk Bank Tech to process, store, and disburse breast milk and specialty formula under the guidance of the Milk Bank Coordinator and Senior Milk Bank Technician. Duties include maintaining milk inventory records, following safety and infection prevention policies, and providing courteous, confidential service to patients, families and healthcare staff.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• Related experience preferred.
• Proficient in mathematics.
• Computer and typing experience.
• Electronic medical record and inventory exposure preferred.

Responsabilités

• Process and store breast milk and formula per protocols.
• Maintain accurate milk inventory records.
• Comply with safety and infection prevention policies.
• Protect patient confidentiality and support families and staff.
• Assist with cost containment and clerical tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
