Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Military Writing Consultant to produce authentic federal reporting artifacts for remote deployment. The role is a contract position offering $40-$80 per hour and 10-40 hours per week, with work conducted remotely.

You will craft weekly action reports, SITREPs, and executive summaries, review submissions against grading rubrics, and contribute to AI training materials. Strong federal writing standards and military familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Federal experience in US DoD or related federal agency.
• Experience producing templated reports (WARs, MARs, SITREPs, executive summaries).
• Military background in one or more US branches is valued.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; adherence to federal style guides.
• Ability to articulate reporting methods and provide feedback for training.
