Job summary

Lupient Kia of Milwaukee is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience to begin a rewarding career as an Automotive Service Technician. This role is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), which offers hands-on dealership experience and leads to Kia Service Technician certification.

Veterans will work full-time while receiving the necessary training and support to become highly skilled technicians in a fast-paced environment.

The program is GI Bill approved, allowing eligible Veterans to receive a Monthly Housing Allowance during their apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Honorable discharge from U.S. military service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Prior mechanical or technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
• Complete repair orders according to dealership policies.
