Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. in Elkridge, MD, seeks a Technical Editor and Writer 3 to join an IPT engineering team. You will write, edit, and publish technical publications covering operation and maintenance for sensors and systems, ensuring alignment with military specs and standards.

Responsibilities include researching sources, collaborating with leads and engineers, performing quality reviews, and delivering materials in HTML, XML, SGML and other formats; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM or related field or 3+ years military ops experience.
• U.S. citizenship and DoD clearance required.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Write, rewrite and edit technical publications covering operation and maintenance for sensors/systems.
• Research information from contractual and engineering sources to develop publications conforming to military specs.
• Publish materials in HTML, XML, SGML and other formats.
• Collaborate with task leads, writers, engineers, and instructors to deliver publications.
• Conduct quality reviews of technical publications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
