Loyal Source Government Services seeks a Psychiatric Technician to deliver direct mental health support at Davis Grant Medical Center (60th MDG) Travis Air Force Base. You will assist with assessments, treatment plans, counseling, and rehabilitation while maintaining records and coordinating with healthcare teams.

The position requires relevant certification or education, up-to-date licensure, and at least one year of recent Psychiatric Technician experience in a military or civilian setting.

Formación

• Certification or degree as Psychiatric Technician.
• Graduation from an accredited Psychiatric Technician program or equivalent military education/experience.
• One year of Psychiatric Technician experience in the last two years.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice as Psychiatric Technician or LPN/LVN in applicable states.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct or assist in treatment and rehabilitation of patients, including initial assessments.
• Provide patient education in coordination with mental health and nursing diagnoses.
• Observe, monitor, record, and report patient progress.
• Conduct group and individual counseling and related activities.
• Institute precautions to prevent patient injury or suicide.
• Assist patients with nutritional, hygiene, and comfort measures.
• Obtain and record vital signs.
• Coordinate with agencies regarding care, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation; contact military/community agencies.
• Arrange patient referrals to public, private, and military community agencies.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports pertaining to specialty services.
