Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a civilian Physical Therapist for MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. The role offers a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) from Monday through Friday with no weekend duties, plus paid time off and holidays.

The setting includes on-site support staff and a structured environment to balance patient care with work-life harmony. The ideal candidate will hold an APTA-approved PT degree, be licensed in any state, meet CAPTE standards, and possess a valid

Qualifications

Masters or Baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved program.
Active state Physical Therapist license
Graduate from CAPTE-approved college/university
Experience to meet clinical competency requirements at the Base
Valid BLS certification

Responsibilities

Perform a full range of physical therapist services in accordance with the scope of clinical privileges granted by the MTF including differential diagnosis.
Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on evaluation.
Administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function.
Instruct, motivate, and assist patients in performing various physical activities.
Administer manual therapy including joint mobilization/manipulation and soft tissue mobilization.
Coordinate treatment with physician and staff to obtain patient information and revise treatment plans.
Perform prevention and wellness activities, education, screening, and promote positive health behaviors.
