Magellan Federal seeks a Personal Financial Counselor assigned to Grissom Army Reserve Base, IN, providing comprehensive financial counseling to service members and their families in short-term, surge, and on-demand scenarios. The role supports DoD financial readiness with one-on-one counseling, group briefings, and referrals as needed.

The incumbent will coordinate with installation POCs, deliver classes, and may conduct virtual sessions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required; alternatives acceptable as listed.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizen with fluent English.
• If required by contract, bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
• Must pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for OCI.
• Certifications AFC/CFP/ChFC required.

Aufgaben

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families.
• Assist in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
• Develop and provide financial educational materials.
• Coordinate and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops.
• Utilize virtual counseling tools when authorized by the DoD program office.
• Manage duty to warn situations per DoD protocol.
• Collaborate with leadership and participate in supervision and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
