Magellan Health, Inc. in Havelock, NC seeks a Personal Financial Counselor to provide personal financial counseling services to service members and their families on base.

You will educate and counsel on budgeting, debt management and financial planning, develop and deliver financial education materials, and coordinate a broad range of classes across the military lifecycle. The role may involve virtual counseling and collaboration with DoD POCs to ensure program scope and needs are met.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required or combination of education and work experience.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English.
• Contract may require bilingual English/Spanish.
• Must be able to obtain Tier 2 investigation and comply with OCI disclosures.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families.
• Establish spending plans for extended absences and develop educational materials.
• Coordinate and publicize Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
• Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes of communication as approved.
• Collaborate with DoD and installation leadership to ensure program scope and needs are met.
