Job summary

YO AI Labs seeks an experienced Military Operations & Reporting SME to support a project evaluating and improving AI-generated military and DoD reporting content. The role requires hands-on DoD experience, staff processes, and executive-level communication.

As a contractor working remotely, you will review DoD reports, synthesize inputs from multiple teams, develop realistic reporting scenarios, and provide structured feedback to improve accuracy and terminology across reporting outputs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of DoD experience in military personnel or DoD civilian roles.
• Experience preparing recurring executive reports.
• Familiarity with WARs, status reports, performance reports, AARs, or budget execution reports.
• Background in military operations, plans, HQ staff, program management, or resource management.
• Strong written communication and information synthesis.
• Experience as Operations Officer, Plans Officer, Action Officer, Staff Officer, or similar role preferred.

• Strong written communication and information-synthesis skills.
• Experience as an Operations Officer/NCO, Plans Officer, Action Officer, Staff Officer, Executive Officer, or similar role is preferred.
