Job summary

Prime Response, Inc. seeks a Military Office Moves Specialist to provide onsite logistics and warehouse operations support at a large military facility in Arlington, VA.

You will perform a variety of customer service logistics functions, including moving furniture, inventory control, and deliveries within the National Capital Region. The role requires ability to obtain government clearance, valid driver's license, and fluent English.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–5 years of warehouse or logistics experience.
  • Experience with material handling, inventory, deliveries, or facilities logistics.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and office moves.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and pick up material in a professional manner.
  • Conduct office moves within the Pentagon and NCR.
  • Safeguard and protect furniture from damage.
  • Inventory materials and obtain signed receipts.
  • Load and unload trucks carefully.
  • Assist at events by moving and setting up furniture.
  • Provide customer assistance in stock room and warehouses.
  • Travel to locations in the National Capital Region for deliveries.
  • Operate handheld computers and PCs for transactions and inventory.

Job Description

Prime Response, Inc. (PRI) is seekinga Military Office Moves Specialist to provide onsite logistics and warehouse operations support at a large military and Federal facility in Arlington,VA / Washington, DC.Asdirected, the Military Office Moves Specialist performs a variety of customerservice logistics functions.

Dutiesinclude but are not limited to:

  • Deliveringand picking-up material in a professional and courteous manner with minimumdisruption to customers.
  • Conductingoffice moves within the Pentagon and throughout the NCR.
  • Safeguardingand protecting furniture from damage.
  • Inventoryingand obtaining signed receipts from authorized agents for all material picked-upand or delivered.
  • Loadingand unloading trucks in a careful and professional manner.
  • Supportspecial events by moving, setting up, and tearing down chairs, tables, podiums,bunting, etc.
  • Providescustomer assistance in the stock room and warehouses.
  • Makesdeliveries of materials and packages to various locations within the NationalCapital Region.
  • Travelson a truck to make deliveries to other locations in the National CapitalRegion.
  • Operateshandheld computers and Personal Computers to complete transactions, tracking,and inventory in systems of record as required.
Requirements

Required

  • Ability to obtain and maintain agovernment clearance and/or facility badge
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean driving record; ability to operate a medium box truck if required
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

BasicQualifications

  • Minimumof 2–5 years of warehouse, logistics, or related operational experience
  • Experiencesupporting material handling, inventory, deliveries, or facilitieslogistics tasks in a structured environment
  • Familiaritywith warehouse operations, office moves, or property handling
  • Experienceusing inventory tracking systems, handheld scanners, or similar tools
  • Abilityto operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as dollies, palletjacks, and hand trucks (forklift experience a plus, if applicable)
  • Basiccomputer skills for data entry, tracking, and inventory updates
  • Abilityto follow written and verbal instructions and complete tasks accurately
  • Strongcustomer service skills with the ability to interact professionally withbuilding occupants and staff
  • Abilityto safely perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and movingfurniture and materials
  • Abilityto identify damaged items or basic repair needs and take appropriateaction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting government,military, or federal facility operations
  • Experience with officerelocations, furniture handling, or minor furniture repair/maintenance
  • Familiarity with property orasset management systems (e.g., DPAS or similar)
  • Experience supporting warehousereceiving, storage, and distribution function
