Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors supporting military service members under the Reserve Health Readiness Program. Most work on weekends, with some weekdays as needed, across NH and remote installations in the US.

You will review health histories, interview personnel, and document readiness classifications in a proprietary medical record system. Travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in the state.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services preferred.
• Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology preferred.
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments with high daily service member volumes.
• Ability to travel and weekend availability preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations including remote installations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.
