Job summary

KBR in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Material Specialist III to support the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program. The role focuses on inventory control, requisitioning, and reports across GCSS-MC, MDSS II, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities include data management, training teammates, and ensuring compliance with SOW and DoD logistics practices. On-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 4 years of related work experience.
• Complete basic enlisted military supply course, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of DoD logistic functions for large-scale military supply.
• Working knowledge of GCSS-MC or equivalent ERP technologies.
• Able to read and respond to Disposition Instructions and SDRs.
• U.S. Citizen and able to obtain CAC and Base Access.

Responsibilities

• Performs functions relating to technical research, requisitioning, stockage computation, stockage replenishment, custodial record keeping, issue, disposal, redistribution, tracking of equipment, supplies, and publications.
• Operate personal computers, multimedia data entry, scanning and retrieval systems, generate routine reports, and perform technical research for customer inquiries within GCSS-MC, MDSS II and any other system of record.
• Maintains and prepares inventory control reports, custody records, performs reconciliations and administers expenditure of allocated funds per SOW.
• Uses critical thinking to identify and resolve date output and supply administration problems.
• Includes use of automated systems (hardware and software) for tasks.
• Provides training and guidance to lower-level employees.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
