Job summary

The Air Force Civilian Service is seeking 2 Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Workers (GS-0185-12) to support the True North program at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Hampton, VA. You will deliver comprehensive social work services within an Integrated Operational Support team to enhance resiliency and mission readiness.

Requirements include a master’s in social work, an active independent license, BLS, U.S. citizenship, and recent independent practice. Travel and relocation expenses are paid.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice clinical social work independently.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to meet credentialing requirements.
• BLS certification and ability to meet local facility guidelines.
• Independent practice as a licensed social worker within past two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of professional social work services in operational Air Force squadrons.
• Emphasize education, prevention, psychosocial assessment and diagnosis, and treatment.
• Apply evidence-based interventions to improve resiliency and unit mission effectiveness.
