Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (GS-0185-12) to support the 366th Maintenance Group True North program at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho.

The incumbent will provide a full range of clinical social work services within operational Air Force squadrons, focusing on education, prevention, psychosocial assessment, and evidence-based interventions to enhance resiliency and mission effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from CSWE-accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice clinical social work in one of the 50 states/DC/PR/USVI.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Independent licensed clinical social worker within the past two years.
• Knowledge of DSM and evidence-based treatments.
• Experience with military organizations and culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of professional social work services to Air Force squadrons.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and diagnoses.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and treatment.
• Educate and prevent to build resiliency and enhance mission effectiveness.
• Consult with medical professionals and military leaders; facilitate referrals.
