Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience in Military Human Resources services and Office Administration preferred.
• Must be able to pass and obtain a government DOD personnel security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct effective briefings on basic military HR topics and provide customer service.
• Handle routine customer inquiries via telephone, email and in person; coordinate with unit administrative personnel; process personnel actions; access standard automated systems.
• Perform as an effective military HR specialist within multiple HR work centers such as Confidential Personnel Records, Information Systems and Automation Support, DEERS/Identification Card Management, Retirement Services, Records Management, and more.
• Follow clearly detailed procedures in performing tasks sequentially.
• Cross train to support staffing shortages or special projects.
