Glacier Support Services seeks a Health Promotion Technician to support the Armed Forces Wellness Center at Ft. Jackson, SC. This on-site role involves coordinating events, scheduling, referrals, and clerical support to help deliver six core wellness programs focused on prevention and readiness.

The position requires a 4-year Allied Health degree, current AHA BLS, and strong MS Office skills. U.S. citizenship and ability to meet Public Trust requirements are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health from an accredited college or university.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.

Responsabilités

• Provide program support including coordination of community events, scheduling, referrals, and clerical tasks.
• Educate clients on AFWC services and assist health educators with biometric screening.
• Conduct health and biometric screenings and administer health promotion briefs.
• Manage center schedules using Microsoft Office and military medical record systems.
• Coordinate and conduct on-site unit health promotion briefings using standardized presentations.
