Job summary

Magellan Health is seeking a qualified candidate to provide financial counseling services for military service members and their families. Responsibilities include developing spending plans, delivering Personal Financial Management classes, and ensuring service alignment with installation needs.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of financial counseling experience and a Bachelor's degree. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, along with relevant certifications. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or an associate degree plus 4 years’ experience.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience required.
• Fluent in English; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to obtain Tier 2 security clearance.
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling to military families.
• Develop spending plans and assist with financial education.
• Deliver financial management classes across military lifecycle.
• Collaborate with installation leadership to align programs.
• Participate in contract-related duties and regular supervision.
